How to Install VAS 5054A ODIS on Windows 10 64-bit




If you have a VAS 5054A diagnostic tool and want to use it with ODIS software on Windows 10 64-bit system, you may encounter some problems with the installation and compatibility. Step 1: Download ODIS 6.10 Software




The latest version of ODIS software is 6.10, which supports VAS 5054A and VAS 6154 diagnostic interfaces. You can download ODIS 6.10 software from this link: https://share.weiyun.com/0mueutt8 (password: q183lh). The software package includes:


  • Windows update (if you need)



  • Setup



  • ODIS 6.10 license



  • Patch



  • Drivers



  • ODIS-Service-update_6_1_0-EU files



Step 2: Copy ODIS 6.10 Software to Local Disk




After downloading ODIS 6.10 software, you need to copy all the files from the DVD and paste them to the local disk of your computer. This may take a long time, so please be patient.


Step 3: Update Windows System (Optional)




If your Windows system is not up to date, you may need to update it before installing ODIS software. You can use the Windows update file in the software package if you need.


Step 4: Restart Computer




After updating Windows system, you need to restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.


Step 5: Unzip ODIS Service Installation File




The next step is to unzip the ODIS service installation file (odis service installation file.zip) and run the OffboardDiagSetup-service_VWMCD_6_1.exe file. You will see the following interface:

Step 6: Choose Target Folder




The default target folder for ODIS software is C:\Program Files\Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service\. You can change it if you want, but we recommend you to keep it as default. Click Next.


Step 7: Select Diagnostic Interface




In this step, you need to select the diagnostic interface you are using. Since we are installing VAS 5054A ODIS on Windows 10 64-bit, we need to select VAS5054 as shown below:


Click Next.


Step 8: Select License File




In this step, you need to select the license file for ODIS software. The license file is named license.dat and it is located in the local disk where you copied the ODIS software files. Click Browse and find the license.dat file, then click Next.


Step 9: Install ODIS Software




In this step, you just need to click Install and wait for the installation process to complete. It may take several minutes, so please be patient.


Step 10: Install Patch File




After installing ODIS software, you need to install the patch file to make it work properly. The patch file is named Offboard e0e6b7cb5c
